A pair of banded agate torpedo drop earrings of unusual design, likely dating to the late-Victorian era (1837-1901). With well-matched agate in hues ranging from darkest brown to cream, the earrings are carved as a series of faceted spheres, graduating in size and terminating in a point. Each drop is suspended from a loop, allowing them to swing and reflect the light from their smooth, lustrous surface. With hooks and findings in yellow gold fill, these spectacular earrings are truly a rare and coveted find.

Condition: Very good, with wear commensurate with age. The agate is well-matched and shows minimal wear; just a few minor nicks and nibbles visible upon close examination.
