A rare and highly sort after antique long guard chain from the Victorian era (1837-1901). Crafted in 9 carat yellow gold, it features faceted belcher links with a hinged clasp at its mid-point from which to suspend pendants or charms. At 60 inches (152cm) in length, it is very long and can be wrapped up to three times around the neck. A beautiful and elegant long guard chain that is a timeless wardrobe staple.

Condition: Very good, with minimal wear commensurate with age. There are no solder marks or obvious repairs. The links are in good condition. The gold has some light marks and general wear. The clasp functions well. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
