A stunning antique Edwardian era (1901-1915) shaker locket in 9ct gold with a slightly rosy hue. The locket features a convex watch glass held in a heavily chased border with a bale. The rear of the locket is engraved with a beautifully detailed geometric design. I have had my jeweller fill the locket with hessionite garnets and white sapphires, which 'shake' around inside for a touch of whimsy.
Fully stamped for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1903. Makers mark WGM (Walter & George Myers).
Locket measures approximately: 26mm x 37mm (including bale).
Weight: approximately 6g
Condition: Good with minor wear in relation to age. The hinge on the locket functions perfectly, opening and closing with ease. There are some small scratches to the watch glass and to the gold at the rear of the locket, and one minor bump. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
Please note: the chain shown in the pictures is not included.
