A stunning antique ruby and diamond cluster ring dating to the early 20th century. Designed to resemble a flower, the setting consists of 14 calibre cut rubies held in a gold bezel, bordered with 24 small diamonds in a silver gallery. A larger, brilliant cut diamond is rests at the flower's centre, with a simple band in 20ct yellow gold.
Size L (US 6). Resizable within reason.
Stamped for 20ct gold, date marked 1887-1937. There is also an unidentified assay mark, which I believe may be 'Aveiro, Portugal'.
Weight (approximate): 2.1g
Measurements (approximate): Ring head measures 14mm x 14mm.
Condition: Very good, with wear commensurate with age. The diamonds and rubies have some small nicks and scratches. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
