A rare and highly coveted Georgian era (1714-1836) five-stone garnet band. This beautiful ring is set with flat cut garnets which have been foil-backed to intensify the deep hues of the gems. The 9ct rose gold band has split shoulders and reeded embellishments to the band. A stunning, eye-catching piece that is perfect when worn both stacked or by itself.
Size P ½ (US 8.25). Resizing not recommended due to foiling.
No stamps are present, but the gold tests as a minimum of 9ct.

Measurements (approximate): Band is 5.5mm at widest point, tapering to 1.75mm at the rear.
Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age. The garnets have some light scratches and chips and one has a small nibble to the edge. The foil backing has some oxidation as is typical of rings this age. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
NOTE: To preserve the foiling, this ring should not be exposed to liquids or moisture.
