A charming antique late-Georgian era (1714-1836) hand-painted miniature portrait. Depicting a middle-aged gentleman in a topcoat and cravat, with a slightly cock-eyed gaze which lends a lot of personality and quirk to his appearance. The painting is very finely rendered and held under convex glass in an oval-shaped frame cased in rose gold. With both brooch and pendant fittings, this piece is perfect for collectors of both antique portraiture or jewellery alike.
