A rare antique Georgian era (1714-1836) intaglio seal fob in a gilt mount. The fob holds a rectangle-shaped carnelian intaglio, carved with monogrammed initials. Depending on which way the intaglio is viewed, the initials can read ‘MH’, ‘HM’, ‘HW’ or ‘WH’. This unique piece is perfect for wear as a pendant or charm.

Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age. The intaglio is crisp and glossy with some light wear. The gilding has worn thin in some areas. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
