A beautiful and sentimental late Georgian era (1714-1836) mourning ring in 18ct gold with black enamel. The ring bears the words 'In memory of' in Gothic-style lettering around its circumference within a border of corded gold. The interior of the band is hand engraved with the dedication 'Alice Marshall, Ob. 18 Feb 1824 at 59'.
Fully stamped for London, 1822, 18ct gold. Maker's mark 'JG'.
Ring size: UK/AU N 1/2 (US 7.25). Cannot be resized.
Measurements: band width is approximately 9mm.
