A highly coveted antique giardinetto pendant dating to the first half of the 20th century and likely Italian or German in origin. The pendant takes the form of a flowering plant, with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires of various cuts forming the leaves and petals, held in a diamond encrusted amphora. Crafted in 14ct yellow gold with silver details, this sweet giardinetto is a lovely example of its type.
Stamped '585' for 14ct gold. Additional stamps to the jump ring and bale are illegible.

Measurements (approximate): Ring head measures 15mm x 14mm.
Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age. The gems have small chips visible under magnification and appear to be original to the piece. The gold has light marks and general wear. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
