An exquisite antique diamond and topaz lapel pin in the form of a monogram, likely dating to the late 19th century. The monogram is made up of two entwined letters: a 'T' set with 24 deeply-hued pink topazes, and an 'F' set with 18 fiery white diamonds. The pin and mount are fashioned in 18ct yellow gold. This is a very fine piece of the highest quality, beautifully made and ready to wear as is, or convert to a pendant or ring.
No hallmarks are present, but the gold tests as a minimum of 18ct .

Measurements (approximate): Pin head measures 13mm x 18mm. Pin stem is 53mm. Total pin length is 60mm.
Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age. The gems are bright and lively - there is one small diamond missing where the bottom, horizontal axis of the letter 'F' meets the vertical one.
