This exceptional antique long guard chain is perfect for the budget conscious antique lover. It is made from pinchbeck - an alloy of copper and zinc with a deceptively golden hue. With a belcher link design and measuring in at a generous 56.7 inches (144cm) in length, this chain is perfect for layering (it can be looped up to three times around the neck). It also has a dog clip clasp on which to attach pendants or charms if desired.

Condition: Very good, with wear commensurate with age. There is an small, old repair to one of the terminal rings. There is some slight stiffness in a few of the links, but the chain hangs smoothly and is structurally sound. The dog clip functions well.
