A stunning antique glass puffy heart locket dating to the late Victorian era (1837-1901). The locket features two glass leaves held in a hinged bracket with yellow gold gilding. It opens to allow flat items (photos, pressed flowers) to be placed inside if desired, where they can be displayed by its wearer. A beautiful and sentimental piece of jewellery, with a classic design which remains stylish to this day.

Measurements (approximate): 23mm (including bale) x 18mm x 9mm.
Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age. The glass has light abrasion. The bale has some thinning. The gilding is in good condition. The hinge functions well. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
