A spectacular antique snake bangle, likely dating to the turn of the century or thereabouts. This stunning piece is styled as a snake coiling its body around the wrist, with detailed engraving to its head and tail, a garnet crown and paste eyes. No detail has been overlooked in the making of this bangle - from the pointed tongue in the snake's mouth to the swish at the end of its scaled tail. Crafted in 14ct gold with a slightly rosy tint, it fastens with a tongue and groove closure and has a safety chain.
An inspection mark is present, but is illegible. The gold tests as a minimum of 14ct.
