A pair of late-Victorian era (1837-1901) convertible day-to-night earrings, with tear-shaped drops and circular mounts, all crafted in 14ct yellow gold with a Florentine finish. The drops swing with the wearer’s movement for a glamorous ‘nighttime’ look, or can be removed leaving only the mounts for a more simple ‘daytime’ look. With dormeuse fittings, these spectacular earrings are truly a rare and coveted find.
No stamps are present. The gold tests as 14ct.
