A timeless and highly coveted antique long guard chain from the Victorian era (1837-1901). Crafted in 9 carat yellow gold, it features oval-shaped belcher links with a hinged clasp at its mid-point from which to suspend pendants or charms. At 33 inches (84cm) in length, it falls below the bustline at the mid-point of the abdomen. A beautiful and elegant long guard chain that is a must-have wardrobe staple.
No stamps are present, but the gold tests as 9ct.
