
A well-loved antique Victorian era (1837-1901) faith, hope and charity ring in 9ct yellow gold. The band is adorned with the emblems of a cross, anchor and heart ('faith, hope and charity') with a scrolled design to its circumference. The heart appears to be engraved with the letters 'AEI' (amity, eternity, infinity), a popular motif in Victorian remembrance jewellery.
Stamped for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1866.
Size: L ½ (US 6.25). Cannot be resized without losses to the design.

Measurements (approximate): Band is 4.5mm wide. Heart applique is slightly larger at 7mm wide.
Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age. The engraved details are heavily rubbed. The band shows evidence of resizing. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
