An exquisite antique Victorian era (1837-1901) pendant, set with one of the most extraordinary examples of dendritic agate that I have come across. Very large and oval-shaped, the pendant is set with a dendritic agate plaque with crisp, natural patterning that resembles the branches of a tree against a cloudy, winter sky. The plaque is bezel set in a 9ct rose gold frame with a bale.
No stamps are present, but the gold tests a minimum of 9ct.
Weight (approximate): 15.6g
Measurements (approximate): Pendant measures 70mm (including bale) x 45mm.
Condition: Very good, with wear commensurate with age. The agate plaque is in exceptional condition, with no notable damage and minimal wear. The frame has numerous small bumps to its edges. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
Cost includes full insurance coverage for loss or damage in transit.
