An eye-catching antique Victorian era (1837-1901) locket in sterling silver. Oval-shaped and of generous proportions, the locket is hand-engraved with an intricate leaf motif, one side with the monogram 'MC' or 'CM' at its centre. The hinge on the locket functions perfectly, opening easily and closing securely and is in exceptional condition for a piece of its age, with very few signs of wear.

Condition: Excellent, with minimal wear commensurate with age. The exterior of the locket is almost pristine, with no bumps or scratches of marks to the casing. The locket interior has some scratches. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
