This exceptional long guard chain from the Victorian era (1837-1901) is perfect for the budget conscious antique lover. It is made from pinchbeck - an alloy of copper and zinc with a deceptively golden hue. It is made up of oval shaped links with a faceted design.. At a generous 51 inches in length, this chain is perfect for layering (I can loop it three times around my own neck). It also has a dog clip from which you can hang charms and trinkets.
