A stunning vintage three stone ring, perfect if you're wanting the look of diamonds with a much kinder price tag. The centre stone is a brilliant cut white topaz of approximately 0.3 carat weight, flanked by two brilliant cut white sapphires with an approximate total weight of 0.6 carats. The stones are of good colour and clarity and are set in a high quality 18ct yellow gold band. It is a simple and elegant ring - a fine example of its style. It is fully stamped and dates to the 1930s.
Stamped for 18ct gold, Helsingborg, Sweden. Maker's mark 'EVM' (E.V. Mandahl). Date stamp is rubbed but appears to be for either 1936 or 1939.
Weight: 5.1g. Total gem weight is approximately 0.9 carats.
Measurements: approximately 6mm width at the front tapering to 3mm at the rear.
Ring size: UK/AU Q (US 8.5). Resizeable within reason.
Condition: Very good with minor wear in relation to age. The gold is of excellent quality and the gems are well matched. There are some small chips to the stones that are only visible under magnification. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
