An exquisite vintage daisy ring, perfect for wear as an engagement ring or as a sweet, sparkly statement piece. The ring is set with seven radiant round cut diamonds in a flower head design. The diamonds are set open-backed in a raised gallery to accentuate their brilliance and fire, by allowing light to transmit through the stone. The gallery, shoulders and shank are made from 18ct yellow gold, with a simple but elegant design. The ring most likely dates to the first half of the 20th century.
Stamped for 18ct gold, maker's mark 'S&Co'. Another stamp is present but illegible; it could possibly be a leopard's head (London assay office).
Size: M (US 6.5). Resizable within reason.
Weight: Total ring weight is 2.2g. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.21 carat.
Measurements (approximate): Ring head measures 8mm across. Diamonds measure 2mm across. The shank is just shy of 2mm at the widest point.
Condition: Very good with wear commensurate with age. Diamonds are bright, lively and of good colour. There are some small nicks visible when viewed under magnification. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
Cost includes full insurance coverage for loss or damage in transit.
