A playful vintage mid-century converter pendant/brooch with a spider motif. Dating to the 1960s, the pendant is suspended from a stylised bow with scrolled engraving and a pin to the rear, which can be detached simply by unhooking it. The pendant itself features a spider inside a circular frame, its abdomen made up of a half pearl and an opal with excellent play of colour.
Fashioned in 9ct yellow gold throughout, this piece is articulated and can be worn as a single item, or as two separate ones (a spider pendant or a bow brooch). It is perfect for those looking for something special to wear during Halloween, or for lovers of arachnids in general!
Fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1964, with maker's mark 'R.F.B.'
